Desiraeda Dance Theatre returns with a compelling new production:

Weight

April 29th, 30th, and May 1st at The Dancemakers Centre for Creation
in Toronto.

Choreographed by Artistic Director NIKI WOZNIAK, Weight tells a modern-day love story through passionate, explosive contemporary jazz dance. Two couples, interpreted by outstanding dance artists TYLER EVAN WEBB, LAURA OVCJAK, MATTHEW MONTGOMERY, and WOZNIAK, struggle with miscommunication, deceit, obsession and betrayal in their search for meaningful love.

The show features the duet “And then there were two…” which premiered in The Chimera Project’s Fresh Blood (Enwave Theatre; Oct. 29th 2009, Toronto ON) and received an honorable mention from dance critic Paula Citron.
